Barbara Moore is the creator, along with artist Aly Fell, of the Steampunk Tarot.
She is a tarot expert who has been reading the cards, teaching tarot reading, and writing books about tarot for over twenty years. Tarot has been a part of Barbara Moore's personal and professional lives for over two decades. In college, tarot intrigued her with its blending of mythology, psychology, art, and history.
Today, Barbara continues her tarot journey, both by learning from others and sharing her ideas through writing and teaching. Some of her favorite works include A Guide to Mystic Faerie Tarot, The Gilded Tarot Companion, Tarot for Beginners, and Tarot Spreads: Layouts & Techniques to Empower Your Readings.
Her articles on the tarot have appeared in several tarot publications and in Llewellyn's New Worlds of Mind and Spirit. She is a founding member of the Minnesota Area Tarot Symposium and has spoken at tarot conferences around the United States. In July of 2010, Barbara was the keynote speaker at the Tarot Association of the British Isles (TABI) Annual Conference.
Enjoying life in Minnesota, Barbara counts among her interests knitting and playing with her dogs.
